Korčula's archipelag consists of 14 islands and islets; discover them in an interesting and sporty way - with kayak. On the biggest island, Badija, exists a franciscain monastery which you can visit, and later on relax in the small restaurant just beside the sea level. On the only inhabited island, Vrnik, we surely must see the old quarries, which ilustrate the way of life of the old islanders. Stone from Vrnik is of excellent quality and endurance (main street in the old town of Dubrovnik was covered by stone from Vrnik), therefore the long tradition of Korčula's and Vrnik's stone cutting. If you are adventurous, visit "savage" islets with nice beaches, Gubavac and Sutvara, Stupe (there is an excellent restaurant, food is based on home-made, local, products).
